Oh hey Reader. A little birdie (AKA my tagging system in Kit) told me that you *haven’t* grabbed a Quarterly Copy Pass yet. Since it’s closing in 2 days (or when passes sell out, and about half are already gone), I figured I’d pop into your inbox with the questions my passholders asked most before they took the plunge. Because hey, I want YOU to feel as good about your decision to join as I’ll be to have you in. And if you’ve been thinking about it, chances are at least one or two of these questions have been swirling around in your mind. Let’s get to it! Q: I’m still working through my strategy, positioning, offers, and so on. Is now still a good time to grab a pass? A: Totally! Since the Quarterly Copy Pass is focused on me reviewing your copy rather than building it from scratch, it doesn’t require you to have everything figured out first. Many passholders actually use their credits to test and refine as they go (no matter what they’re sorting through in their business at the moment), since they’ve got copy they *need* to put out into the world anyway, strategy-in-progress or not. Q: Will you just be giving my copy a quick skim and some line edits? A: Alas, my brain quite literally wouldn’t let me do that ;-) Instead, you’ll be getting hands-on, in-depth feedback including video walkthroughs, line-by-line comments, and even a rewrite of a key section, depending on what I think will be most useful for you. I spend close to an hour on every submission. So yes, I’ll fix the headline (obviously). But with a decade of copy strategy behind me, I’ll dig into clarity, structure, positioning, voice, messaging, sequencing, conversion, and more. So if something bigger is holding your copy back, you’ll know that, too. Q: Why should I grab a Quarterly Copy Pass and get your eyes on my copy instead of just asking AI? (And can I submit copy I used AI to help me write?) A: Check out Friday’s email (“Nicole the copywriter VS the robot”) for the full breakdown. But the short answer: probably 9 of 10 Quarterly Copy Pass submissions I get were written with AI’s help somewhere along the way. So sure, use AI to get a first draft down! Then bring it to me so I can use my decade of copywriting experience and real human brain to... ...strip out the obvious AI tells. ...weave your personality and voice back in. ...tighten your message. ...and ultimately turn your “fine” AI copy into the kind of great copy you can feel confident hitting publish on. Q: What if I feel nervous about sharing my copy? A: Totally normal! Lots of passholders tell me they worry their copy isn't "ready" or "good enough"... or even that it sounds a little too much like something AI spit out. But that's kinda the whole point of getting a second set of eyes on it. You don't need polished, perfect copy to submit – just something to start with. My role is to meet you where you are and make sure what you've got feels clear, compelling, and human. No judgment, I promise. (It’s worth mentioning that your reviews are also 100% private. I email them directly to you, so nothing gets posted to a shared Drive, portal, or Slack group.) Still not sure? Then please do check out the testimonials on the Quarterly Copy Pass page about my reviewing style! Q: How does it all work (and what does it cost)? A: Honestly, it’s super simple. Grabbing a Quarterly Copy Pass gets you 3 review credits to use throughout the quarter (this quarter’s pass is valid October-December). One credit typically covers one piece of copy (a homepage, a landing page, an email, a small campaign of related emails, etc.). Bigger assets, like a long-form sales page or launch sequence, might take two, though you’ll always get the final say on how you use your credits. And if you’re ever not sure, you just say so on your submission form and I’ll use my best judgment. No mystery math required! Beyond this, there are no live calls and no extra meetings. You submit when you’re ready and, since reviews happen in set weeks each month, you always know exactly when yours will land in your inbox. The cost is $397 per quarter, with no long-term commitment + the ability to cancel anytime. For most business owners, it only takes a small portion of one sale of their main offer to more than cover their pass for the quarter. Q: Can I just join for a single quarter? A: Sure can! There’s no long-term contract nor pressure to renew. Some passholders use one quarter to really nail a single *big* thing, like a launch, a signature sales page, or a website rebrand. Others stick around because they always have more copy in the pipeline. I’m happy to have you no matter what type of passholder you are :-) Q: Remind me how I can grab a pass again? A: Just click below!
Okay, that’s all from me for today, Reader. At this point, you should have everything you need to make the best choice for you and your business. And if that road leads you to the Quarterly Copy Pass… I can’t wait to meet you + dig into your copy! ~Nicole P.S. Don’t have any copy ready to submit yet? No problem! Your credits are good through the end of December, so you can grab a pass now and send something in whenever you’re ready. (Just keep in mind the Quarterly Copy Pass closes Tuesday or when the remaining passes are sold, whichever comes first.)
