Nicole the copywriter VS the robot

The Quarterly Copy Pass is closing in...

Okay folks. I know what many of you are thinking: why bother with a copywriter or something like the Quarterly Copy Pass when you couuuuld just ask your friendly neighborhood chatbot to write, tweak, and edit your copy for you?

So, let’s talk about it!

Starting with a bit of honesty: if you were fully, 100% satisfied with your AI-generated copy, you probably wouldn’t have opened up this email.

You’d just hit publish, watch the sales roll in, and move on with your life.

But a lot of us are finding gaps with our AI-generated copy. No matter how much we train it. No matter how many times we "feed it" our voice.

Recently, I asked my weekly mastermind group about their experience writing copy with AI, and the same problem kept coming up.

As one person put it bluntly: "sexy sentences that ultimately don't mean anything."

Another described it as a 50/50 gamble: half of her copy sounds like her, the other half is obviously AI, and she can't always tell what's working and what's not until someone points it out.

If you can relate?

You probably already know you'd benefit from a second set of *human* eyes to strengthen, humanize, and improve your AI copy before it goes out into the world.

But hey, maybe that's not you. Maybe your AI-assisted copy feels pretty solid already!

Even then…

Even copy that's "pretty good" leaves something on the table.

Because taking that "pretty good" AI copy and making it into great copy means easier consultation calls. Sales and inquiries coming in while you sleep. Clients choosing to reach out to you instead of your competition.

Getting words on the page is the easy part. (Though maybe don't ask me how many hours I spent writing the Quarterly Copy Pass sales page, please. Writing for yourself is hard, okay???)

Getting them to resonate with the humans in your audience and ultimately sell is a different skillset entirely.

Though to be clear: I'm not here to shame you for using AI with your copy!

Probably 9 of 10 Quarterly Copy Pass submissions I get are written with AI's help somewhere along the way.

So yup, you're more than welcome to bring me your AI-assisted drafts!

And in return, I'll bring my decade of copywriting experience and real human brain to "humanize" and refine what you've given me by:

  • Stripping out the obvious AI tells
  • Weaving your personality and voice back in
  • Tightening your message (and making sure it goes beyond just "sexy sentences" that sound slick)
  • And ultimately turning "pretty good" into the kind of great copy that you can feel confident hitting publish on

Though don't just take my word for it ;-)...

"SO MUCH BETTER THAN AI.

With Nicole's help, I've made changes to my sales pages and have been making more sales… plus, her feedback has been helpful for the rest of my copy, too. In a world of AI everything, definitely work with Nicole if you want HUMAN eyes on your copy!"

"You want Nicole in your corner, period.

I'm so glad I had my sales page reviewed by Nicole, since it would have cost me thousands in lost sales if I hadn't. And on top of that, the game-changing advice she gave me wasn't something I was going to get from ChatGPT!"

Okay, that's all for now. Hope you have a lovely weekend!

P.S. If your gut reaction to the Quarterly Copy Pass is “sounds great, but I don’t have the budget”... let me just say that it’s probably more affordable than you think :-)

A one-off copy audit with me runs $695. A full done-for-you project starts at $2,250.

At just $397 for the whole quarter (with no long-term commitment + the ability to cancel anytime), the Quarterly Copy Pass is a different category entirely. For most business owners, it only takes a small portion of one sale of their main offer to more than cover it.

(Which, hey, is kind of the point of the QCP as my copy feedback is meant to help you convert + sell more.)

The Quarterly Copy Pass is closing in... Alright, folks. The Quarterly Copy Pass closes tomorrow. If you opened this email up, my guess is that you’re still on the fence. And totally fair! (I’m a chronic overthinker myself, so I respect the process.) So my one job in this email is to help you make the right call, whichever way that goes. You know the “this is perfect for you if…” email that shows up at this point in every launch? We’re going to do it a little differently here. Because I don’t...

The Quarterly Copy Pass is closing in... Reader, I want to introduce you to my client, Susan. Susan is a graduate of Harvard. Harvard Law School. *And* a Rhodes Scholar (with a degree from Oxford – wowza!). Today, she’s a college admissions strategist who helps high school students get into the most selective universities in the world. Her students’ acceptance rates at those schools – including big hitters like MIT and the Ivies – are about 10x (!!) the national average. And get this: before...

Oh hey Reader. A little birdie (AKA my tagging system in Kit) told me that you *haven’t* grabbed a Quarterly Copy Pass yet. Since it’s closing in 2 days (or when passes sell out, and about half are already gone), I figured I’d pop into your inbox with the questions my passholders asked most before they took the plunge. Because hey, I want YOU to feel as good about your decision to join as I’ll be to have you in. And if you’ve been thinking about it, chances are at least one or two of these...
