Reader, I want to introduce you to my client, Susan. Susan is a graduate of Harvard. Harvard Law School. *And* a Rhodes Scholar (with a degree from Oxford – wowza!). Today, she’s a college admissions strategist who helps high school students get into the most selective universities in the world. Her students’ acceptance rates at those schools – including big hitters like MIT and the Ivies – are about 10x (!!) the national average. And get this: before that, she was an environmental lawyer. She now uses those same skills to help her students "build their case" for admission, application essays included. So if anyone is a talented writer, it’s Susan. And yet, writing copy for her own business never came as naturally. In her words when she first came to me: Luckily, she found the answer to "more compelling copy" in the Quarterly Copy Pass. But while I won’t pass up the opportunity to share a client testimonial that makes me look good 😎, the real reason I’m sharing this story is because I want you to know that Susan isn’t an outlier. Plenty of business owners who grab a Quarterly Copy Pass come with impressive credentials, deep experience in their field, and even writing-heavy backgrounds. Yet, they still want a second set of eyes on their copy. And they choose to bring it to me because it’s what I do for a living (and have for the last 10 years), and copywriting is a different craft from theirs. (Hey, I even have a copywriting mentor who reviews my work from time to time. No one is immune to copy blind spots on their own stuff!) Because ultimately, copywriting goes far beyond just writing. ➔ It’s buyer psychology. ➔ It’s messaging hierarchy (i.e., what your reader needs to see first, what comes next, and how it all builds together toward a persuasive argument). ➔ It’s capturing what makes you different + the full value of how you help your clients in a way that your reader can connect with. ➔ It’s getting inside your reader’s head, understanding how they make decisions, and making your message so clear and easy to take in that saying yes feels like the obvious next step. So whether you’re a gifted writer but not a trained copywriter, a seasoned expert who *might* be just a little too close to your copy to see it clearly, or someone who’s just plain sick of second-guessing your copy before you hit publish… …the Quarterly Copy Pass closes tomorrow night (Oct 6 at 11:59 PM MT), or when the last passes go. [Less than half left]
Can’t wait to take a look at what you’ve been working on! ~Nicole P.S. Not a natural writer? You’re welcome to a Quarterly Copy Pass, too. Some people come to me as decent writers, and others come openly hating it. You don’t have to love it (or even be good at it). A rough draft, an outline, or an AI-assisted first pass is plenty to start with. So wherever you’re at, if you know your copy could be doing more of the heavy lifting and you want a strategic look at what’s working and what isn’t (+ clear feedback on how to fix it)... The Quarterly Copy Pass is ready for you here. P.P.S. Totally unrelated to the launch, and I know it breaks the usual “one CTA per email” rule (though rules are meant to be broken occasionally, if you ask me ;-). But if you’re the parent of a high schooler eyeing a highly selective college and want to give your student the best possible chance at being accepted, you HAVE TO talk to Susan. Hit reply and let me know that’s you, and I’d be happy to connect you two.

Join the weekly (ish) newsletter for business owners who want their copy to sell without the sleaze, excessive sales pressure, or disappearing into the AI-flavored sea-of-sameness. Served alongside embarrassing personal stories, the occasional (okay fine, *frequent*) existential crisis, and at least one parenthetical aside per email.
The Quarterly Copy Pass is closing in... Alright, folks. The Quarterly Copy Pass closes tomorrow. If you opened this email up, my guess is that you’re still on the fence. And totally fair! (I’m a chronic overthinker myself, so I respect the process.) So my one job in this email is to help you make the right call, whichever way that goes. You know the “this is perfect for you if…” email that shows up at this point in every launch? We’re going to do it a little differently here. Because I don’t...
Oh hey Reader. A little birdie (AKA my tagging system in Kit) told me that you *haven’t* grabbed a Quarterly Copy Pass yet. Since it’s closing in 2 days (or when passes sell out, and about half are already gone), I figured I’d pop into your inbox with the questions my passholders asked most before they took the plunge. Because hey, I want YOU to feel as good about your decision to join as I’ll be to have you in. And if you’ve been thinking about it, chances are at least one or two of these...
The Quarterly Copy Pass is closing in... Okay folks. I know what many of you are thinking: why bother with a copywriter or something like the Quarterly Copy Pass when you couuuuld just ask your friendly neighborhood chatbot to write, tweak, and edit your copy for you? So, let’s talk about it! Starting with a bit of honesty: if you were fully, 100% satisfied with your AI-generated copy, you probably wouldn’t have opened up this email. You’d just hit publish, watch the sales roll in, and move...
